Scouts Adventurous Activity Training and Assessments for leaders.
Adventurous Activity Training and assessments in Canoe, Kayak, Stand up Paddleboard and Traditional Raft Building
How can we help?
we can offer a variety of knowledge and training to enable groups to become more involved in different adventurous activities.
This can be done in a variety of ways such as
Types of Permit
Personal
Allows a young person (under 18) to take part in an activity with others with a personal Adventurous Activity permit.
Leadership
Allows the permit holder to lead the adventurous activity for a single group.
Supervisory
Allows the permit holder to remotely supervise more than one group by placing a competent person in charge of each group that may not hold a permit themselves.
For each of the types of permit there are specific rules in place related to the activity and use of the permit please see the scout association rules based around your permit. Showing an understanding of these rules is a part of the permit application process
